I designed the next-generation Stackable Battery Holder, a game-changing upgrade to adoniram's original design. My creation is stackable, prints in 2 seamless parts, and securely holds 36x AAA batteries. The internal ramps ensure smooth battery feeding, eliminating the struggle of getting them into place. To make it easy to print, I designed this model as two separate pieces. Printing it in three pieces would require gluing both sides together, allowing for a symmetrical design with identical seams on either side. This also opens up the possibility of printing the sides in different colors, adding a touch of personality to your battery holder. Print Settings: Printer: XYZPrinting DaVinci 1.0A Rafts: No rafts are necessary for this design. Supports: None required due to its clever internal geometry. Resolution: I optimized this model for high-resolution printing at 0.2mm layer height. Infill: With a solid infill of 100%, this battery holder is durable and long-lasting. Post-Printing: To assemble the two pieces, use acetone or model cement to create a strong bond. Design Process: I used SolidWorks to bring my vision to life, carefully crafting each detail to ensure a seamless printing experience.
