Battery Cover for CyberPower 425VA
thingiverse
I scored some oversized batteries at a steal from Radio Shack's clearance section. They were nearly double the size of the dead ones in my UPS, so I took a hacksaw to the back of the enclosure - literally ripped an opening using nothing but pliers. This cover will conceal the damage and make the cases look brand new again. I also added some cooling vents because it seemed like these batteries made the UPS get hot on one corner. The OpenSCAD file is included for you to modify as needed. I goofed up by printing the holddown oversized, when it should be printed to size. It'll go on a little tight at first, but that's just what will allow it to press in snugly once the holddown screws are tightened. The screw holes snapped right off when I tried to use them, so I designed a holddown that goes over the cover and holds it down with screw holes that fit perfectly.
