This alternative is an option for those who want to ensure their battery terminals are protected from shorting out when carried near metal objects. It's compatible with both TPU and PLA materials. This design offers numerous customization parameters, making it adaptable to various needs. However, creating STLs for all possible combinations would be impractical due to the sheer number of options available. A few examples have been provided nonetheless. The holder can be built with or without attachment pegs, allowing users to attach straps in various ways. TPU straps are a suitable choice, but regular rubber bands or even string can also be used to secure the cups on the battery holder body. It's worth noting that the included straps may not work well with PLA material. A pair of TPU caps with an attached single strap is sufficient for smaller batteries, such as those found in 1x4 sets, but might not be effective for larger packs. Four attachable straps would likely provide better protection for bigger battery sets.
