Battery Charger with Magnetic Contacts

Battery Charger with Magnetic ContactsFirst of all, I want to thank you for showing interest in my previous project of magnetic contacts , and also backer the work with like! Now I see that there is interest, and as promised, I will continue to develop this topic. This time I want to present a small charger with the same magnetic contacts. Frankly, I like them myself. In principle, I do not do anything that I do not like myself...Also, the previous publication generated relatively little interest in welding contacts with magnets. And they often asked the question: "why didn't I solder; and what could not be soldered, etc." ... I answer: you can solder, and this time I will tell and show in more detail how this is done ...In order to solder the wire to the magnet, first of all, this operation must be performed quickly, since overheating of the magnet leads to a deterioration in the magnetic properties. Therefore, the soldering itself must be performed on a heat-absorbing surface of the object, which will quickly take away heat. I used a small vise on which I placed the magnets. I heat the tip of the soldering iron to 350 degrees Celsius, this allows you to heat up the surface of the magnet very quickly and the whole operation takes a minimum of time. And you also need a good flux and solder so that the tinning goes as quickly as possible. You will find both in the project link list. In general, I use this flux all the time and buy it in cans of 100 grams. And the solder is perhaps the best I've ever worked with. There are such solders that after them the soldering iron tip has to be restored. This is brief, in more detail in the video. The basic parameters of the module can be read on the seller's page, and there are many reviews on YouTube.Of course, if I had done this device not on camera, everything would have gone quickly and smoothly, and the whole process took half a night along with the editing of the same video. So if this topic is interesting, let me know with a like. When I see your interest - I have something to continue the topic, for example a mini powerbank with the same contacts, and besides, many more different modules can be used.See the video for details: See also: Parts links below: Type C USB 5V 2A Boost Lithium Battery Charge Discharge Module Round Magnet 5x5mm Flexible Silicone Wire 20 AWG Links to used tools: TS80P Soldering Iron 30W MINI T-stand for TS100 TS80P Soldering Soldering wire SANKI 60/40 low temperature melting point Soldering Flux AMTECH NC-559-ASM Soldering Iron Tip TS80 TS80P B02 BC02 D25 K4 J02 TE01 TC01 MINI MTweezers Storage Bag for MINI TS100 TS80P ES120 Mini Hand Drill Set Micro HSS Steel Twist Drill Bit LAOA Mini Hand Tools NOGA deburring tool and Blades Vise for CNC Small Bifrc DH20 Handheld Spot Welder * if you wantRequired files: stl-files.zip My favorites: Thank you for every tip or donation,it means great recognition for me and helps a lot to keep going!
