Battery case with picatinny rail

Hi everybody, I'm looking for a robust battery that fits my airsoft replica perfectly, but the original housing is too small. So, I need an An-Peq type case designed specifically for Ni-Mh 9.6v 8 cell batteries. This custom case securely holds a battery by applying gentle pressure due to its unique clamp design. The battery is retained at the back with four sturdy studs, while the cover seals the assembly. A window allows easy access to the cables. In my CAD design, I intentionally avoided drilling holes for screws in the rail to prevent it from weakening during manufacture. I recommend you drill 2.5mm diameter M3 screw holes after fabrication. This versatile part can accommodate batteries of various sizes, including 9.6v, 8.4v, and 7.2v models that are slightly smaller. Print Settings: Printer Brand: RepRap Printer Model: Prusa i3 Rafts: Yes Supports: Yes Resolution: At least 0.2mm Infill: At least 70% Design Process: Creating this design was relatively straightforward, but finding the optimal clearance between the battery and rail proved to be a challenge. I went through seven iterations, carefully adjusting the design by adding or removing 0.1mm increments until I achieved a perfect fit.
