Battery Case for Hearing Aid Batteries (312 Brown)
thingiverse
My friend wears hearing aids in both ears and always keeps spare batteries on hand. He carries them in a thin cardboard and plastic package that can easily fall out of his pocket if not secured properly. The batteries are activated when the brown flip top is removed, so he makes sure they stay in place until needed. Even with some residual voltage remaining, they won't function if they come into contact with each other, like when they fall out of his pocket. To help him out, I designed a container that holds eight batteries and fits neatly in his pocket. Only the middle section, bottom plate, and lid are fixed together, allowing for easy access to the batteries. This design is specifically tailored for Type 312 Brown hearing aid batteries, as seen on the package image. On the blank space of the middle section, I've left room to add a person's name; however, I've omitted it here for sharing purposes. Feel free to use and share this design with others who may benefit from it. My only request is that if you print one for someone in need, please do not charge them for it. To assemble the container, I used an M3 sink-head 10mm screw. There's room to add a small spring and 2.5mm ball, as well as detents on the lid if desired for a snapping mechanism.
