Human: A protective case for rechargeable lithium-ion batteries, designed to accommodate a custom perfboard measuring 80x20 millimeters. This board is ideal for housing both charging circuitry and step-up conversion capabilities. A deliberate cutout accommodates a 12x19 mm switch, effectively separating the charger's output from the input of the converter. Parts employed: - Perfboard, 80x20 mm in size - A rechargeable lithium-ion battery charger/protector with integrated TP4056 circuitry - A step-up converter MT3608 - An on/off snap-in switch for a cutout measuring 19x12 mm, rated at 250V / 3A, and positioned 19 millimeters beneath the front panel Assembly: - Both boards are soldered using 0.7mm wire as stand-offs onto the perfboard. - The battery terminals of the TP4056 board serve as contact points. - Copper loops wrapped around plastic springs on the battery terminals enhance electrical conductivity. - Isolated wire connects these copper loops to the battery terminals of the TP4056. - Ground/minus is directly connected between the TP4056 output pad and the MT3608 input pad. - The plus terminal is connected through the on/off switch, or alternatively using 6.35mm crimp connectors with wires soldered along the cut line.
