I'm a member of a Xiaomi m365 e-scooter optimization group on Telegram. I designed this battery box that fits into the front fork's frame to double my scooter's range for long rides. It's tailored for affordable 36V 8AH batteries available online, measuring 190x80x70. The design comes in two versions: one with a single cable pass-through and another with a cable pass-through plus two holes for integrating LED contactors. Assembly requires Rilsan electrician's connectors. No charge port holes were drilled; instead, you'll choose your own waterproof charging ports, leaving 3 cm of space above the battery for fuses, switches, or other accessories. The lid snaps onto the box and stays in place thanks to matching engravings on both parts (two are on the box for possibly adding a seal). You can reinforce it with electrical tape if needed.
