I designed a custom version of jasonm621's "Printable Marble Machine #1" and Alzibiff's "Motorised Marble Machine" by making some essential changes to accommodate an AA battery holder and toggle switch seen in my photos, inspired by dmassey's remix. I also tweaked the remixed motor mount created by Dogbert to fit the Pololu 298:1 micro gear motor without using its optional bracket. To install the Pololu 298:1 micro gear motor (Cat #3069), simply insert it into the custom-made motor mount, as demonstrated in my photos. You can find the AA battery holder on eBay by searching "4 X AA Battery Holder," and I found a suitable toggle switch using the search words "Mini Toggle Switch." Two small screws securely fasten the battery holder to the modified battery base. The battery base itself pushes snugly into the custom-made motor mount for a smooth fit, as shown in my photos. In addition, I edited Alzibiff's "Helix Holder" file by eliminating the hole for the power plug and adding some new holes just for extra features. Print Settings Rafts: None Supports: None Resolution: 0.25 mm Infill: 30% Hex Infill Notes: This model was printed with 3 shells all the way around, with an infill density of 30%. Although I used PLA, it can be successfully made from ABS by adjusting the settings accordingly.
