Battery adapter - Convert four AA to one D cell

Due to Hurricane Sandy, there is a blackout and D cell batteries are running out for flashlights. To make use of a 3D printer while the generator is working, AA cells will be utilized. The printing process requires a 10% fill with one shell, using raft and support, despite it making the print ugly. Nobody will see them as they'll be inside a flashlight. For the 3D printed flashlights, 18 gauge wire, a soldering iron, pointed pliers or tweezers, and a 1/16 drill bit or awl are needed to lace the wire through holes and make contacts for batteries. Unfortunately, Long Island has run out of fuel, causing generator rationing and necessitating these flashlights. Copper tape would have been an alternative, but stores were affected by the hurricane. Consequently, bending the wire and soldering will be used instead.
