Batt Pack 18650 cover

Thank you to Heliox: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2339441 My i-Optron N114 telescope needed a new battery, so I replaced the original AA battery pack with a LiPO/NiMH 18650 assembly. The old pack had eight batteries, but I chose four high-capacity cells for this upgrade. I designed and printed the battery pack, then added electronics to charge each cell individually using TP4056 chargers from Aliexpress. Each charger cost just $0.80. To power my telescope, you can connect multiple chargers in series, creating a 12-14V system. You'll find the circuit online with a simple search. If you're looking for affordable battery cells, consider disassembling old laptop batteries and testing each cell individually after removal. Be sure to choose cells that are still good. Remember: 18650 cells can catch fire if pierced. Take care when handling them, as even small perforations can cause extreme heat. This project protects your batteries while using the telescope in the field. I designed it with Tinkercad and you can edit the file online at https://www.tinkercad.com/things/b2YyB2E3voa
