Batmobile
thingiverse
I wanted to surprise my nephew with a car that fits inside a standard envelope. To make this possible, I designed a car made of plywood that assembles into a simple batmobile shape. No glue is required for assembly, and I hope it won't need instructions either. The plywood should be 4 mm thick. Print Settings Printer: Laser Cutter (K40) Notes: For the K40 Laser Cutter, use the PLT file. Post-Printing Sanding? I'm still trying to adjust my laser cutter so that the plywood doesn't catch fire during cutting. While the cutting process is happening, you'll find me standing nearby, pretending to be a firefighter and blowing out any flames as soon as they appear. A bit of sanding can help polish the front surface. Coloring with watercolor paint? That's a tricky part. The kids decided on black and blue, but black and yellow could also work well. What about pink or green? Typically, I add a piece of cardboard to the back side so that I can reassemble the pieces before putting it in the envelope. What color should I use?
