Here are some interesting facts about the original Batmobile. It was designed by accident when Bill Jensen took home a toy car that resembled a Batcycle from an estate sale and altered it to be able to roll, thereby starting a legendary creation in 1973. The first series of films didn't showcase the car on the road but simply drove onto screen. But as far back as "Batman Dracula" released in 1943 you could have spotted the real version. Later years brought many improvements, including four wheel drive and more muscle with its V8 engine that provided more traction on the roads. It featured an ejector seat from one side for escaping any predicaments. All of these elements put together made it one of the best automobiles to emerge over several decades, especially notable when it came time for high action sequences in many Batman films.
