This logo takes its cue from the brilliant "Dark Watch" design by Nerfenstein on Thingiverse (http://www.thingiverse.com/make:63810). I crafted this Batman logo with a unique shape that creates a small step pattern when printed at low resolution, as I discovered when printing it with a 0.3 layer height. For the best results, print with a high layer height to maximize the design's potential. Feel free to experiment with different layer heights to achieve your desired look. Have fun! Print Settings: Printer Brand: RepRap Printer: Prusa i3 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.3 Infill: 20% Notes: To get the small steps pattern, print at large layer heights. I used a 0.3 layer height. Post-Printing: Get Iron Metallic Look To achieve an iron metallic finish, I printed with grey PLA and then applied black shoe polish to crease areas, followed by polishing with a soft-bristled shoe brush. Finally, I applied clear gloss lacquer spray paint for a shiny, glossy appearance.
