BATMAN LED Light/Nightlight

This is an extruded LED Batman sign printed on my dual extruder using a JPEG of the Batman sign traced in Solidworks, then extruded and filleted with aligned screw holes for assembly. The plate was designed to hold the Batman sign, with added holes for screws to secure it in place. I printed the shell around the plate and Batman sign using regular black PLA on my Rep 2, while printing the dual extrusion of the plate and Batman sign with Bendlay filament (http://www.amazon.com/MatterHackers-BendLay-Filament-1-75mm-MakerBot/dp/B00K1NRCIY/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1435347958&sr=8-1&keywords=bendlay&pebp=1435347954416&perid=1WG2SRVP9TGP9WAM748W), which is extremely translucent, allowing 91% of light to pass through. Next, I wrapped an RGB LED strip around the inner shell and hooked it up to an IR receiver for remote control.
