REMIX: I redesigned the original with larger magnets in mind by increasing the hole size to 2 x 15mm, which has a depth of 2.76mm. This adjustment allows for smaller magnets to be used. I also optimized the design for faster print times without sacrificing its appearance. By removing unnecessary mass, I was able to significantly reduce the printing time without compromising the overall look of the object. When working with Fusion 360, I found it easy to remix and edit the original design. To do this, I first inserted a mess, turned off the log, converted the image, removed access triangles, and then turned it back into a solid. This process is much simpler than reverse engineering from scratch, thanks to the Mesh To BRep feature.
