I'm going to take a stab at interpreting the vent on the front of Batman's neck in the new Justice League movie. My hunch is that it serves as a voice modulator, allowing him to alter his tone and pitch with ease. However, I simply replicated the slits for a conventional microphone, assuming it might be used for communication purposes.
