Inspired by "Load cell bracket" from b2vn, this project aims to repurpose a bathroom scale into a larger weighing device suitable for someone seated on a chair. The application is ideal for individuals with mobility impairments who struggle to stand or for pet owners who want to weigh their furry friends accurately. After disassembling a Homedics bathroom scale, I created a custom bracket to house four strain gauges. These gauges can then be mounted onto a platform of the desired size. Since the original design didn't match my strain gauges perfectly, I made some adjustments to ensure compatibility.
