The STL wall holder keeps things simple and straightforward. I wrote an OpenSCAD script as a personal experiment in functional programming, where the "boxes" array gets transformed into holes one by one. Each item's dimension dictates its shape: circles for one dimension, squares or rectangles for two dimensions. I deliberately chose to calculate the offset for each box using recursive functions instead of assigning new values to a variable, taking it up a notch in terms of complexity and interest.
