Recently had to take apart every single faucet handle from the bathtub. Almost all of them snapped in two during removal due to severe corrosion on their backsides. Managed to salvage just one, which I promptly reverse-engineered. Replaced it with brand-new connectors within half an hour. Now everything is back up and running smoothly again.
