Bath Thermometer & Sonar Enclosure

Bath Thermometer & Sonar Enclosure

this is an enclosure for multiple sensors in a bathroom. There is a ds18b20 in a 'waterproof' build with 1m pvc cable. It hangs down into the bath tub with its sensor ends and helps determining if someone takes a bath by measuring the temp. There is also a bme280 temperature/humidity/pressure - sensor. I still use them a lot as they are handy with three sensors on a single break out but they are really good only for measuring air pressure, the other 2 give less reliable measurements. Finally there is a HC-SR04 Ultrasonic Distance Sensor Modul in it's own little box sitting on top. It measures the extension of empty space in one direction and thus allow to decide whether someone is on the toilet or not. You may not have much use for that in many households but in an apartment laid out for no manual light switching this is helpful information to keep the light shining should someone stay on that place for a while. Other items in the box include a boost modul to supply more stable 5V to the sonar sensor and a screw-in terminal for the ds18b20. Some bits worth a note: - the interior design with fixtures for screws and walls to hold the ESP8256 has largely been kept on a separate part so I wouldn't need to reprint the entire box again for just changing a tiny detail there. - those "water-proof" sensors were not truly water-proof. I burned 2 of them after hours or days of use. My current sensor received some additional isolation by acrylat glue and shrink tubes. - the hc sr04 - sensor's enclosure is not included here, I took the case published at: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2914541 It adds a lot to the anthropomorph visuals of the little droid though. - check the positioning of object parts before printing, the top lid as on turns into the wrong orientation in Cura. - the thing doesn't have a display cause I already have another device that shows the temperature, else that would be a sensible addition for the top lid. FreeCAD source is included but a bit crowded...
