Bath Bomb Mold

Bath Bomb Mold

thingiverse

I created this bath bomb mold for my daughters. I aimed to assemble it quickly so it would remain stable while the bath bomb cured and dried. Four M3 x 12mm bolts secure the mold in place. The hole at the top allows air to escape as the bath bomb cures completely. I may design a stand later to hold it steady during drying, but it's not essential. If you need a stand for this mold, a spool holder works well or even an old paper towel tube cut so the sphere can rest on it. That's just how we do things around here - the country way! I added a link to a Spool Adapter with 30mm center on Thingiverse: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2160778. I've also included the gCode file for MP Select Mini & QIDI X-One with Supports. Additionally, I uploaded version two of this bath bomb mold, which features a wide flange and no bolt holes. Instead, I use binder clips to secure it, making it more kid-friendly. Thank you all - please let me know how it works out for you. Print Settings: Printer: MP Select Mini Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: .2 or lower Infill: 20% to 50%
