I'm excited to share my latest project with you! I've designed a boat that combines style, simplicity, and speed in one amazing vessel. Printing has begun, but be patient for photos and tests – it's coming soon! Let me get into the nitty-gritty details: motor assembly, mechanical components, and all that jazz. I'll take plenty of photos so you can geek out over the build process. Cross your fingers that you'll love this boat! Don't worry about minor changes along the way; tests will dictate future tweaks. One thing's for sure – stability is a top priority now more than ever. 07/09/15 Update: That's right, friends – I've tweaked the rudder and tiller to make it more stable. And if that's not enough... 07/10/15 Update: Added a hull caisson around the propeller for improved propulsion! Printing 101: Before you start printing, follow these simple instructions: Print the front, back sections, as well as both motor cap sections, and rudder assembly with 20% infill at 70% speed. The propeller's trickier; print it with over 30% infill at full 100% speed. The vertex K8400 works flawlessly with average printing speeds between 150 and 200 mm/s – perfect in my books!
