Who doesn't love some awesome Batarangs? Well now you can print your own from the video game Batman Arkham City (or Knight). For more details and to see the finished prints, check out this video: https://youtu.be/Jm9yt5Pf-V4 I printed them in PLA on my Robo 3D R1. My wife did some amazing post-processing work on them. Her basic steps were: Step 1: Sand any rough spots. Step 2: Prime with White Plastic Primer. Step 3: Paint with Matte Black Spray Paint. Step 4: Mask off everything but the blades using tape or playdoh. Step 5: Paint Chrome on the blades. Step 6: Assemble and enjoy! The Batarang comes in four parts: two blades, a top, and a bottom coupler in the middle. The blades press-fit onto the bottom, and the top press-fits on top of those. You may need a little glue to keep the top part on. I used super glue. Just make sure to leave the blades glue-free as they are designed to rotate so they can open and close.
