Who doesn't love some awesome Batarangs? Well now you can print your own from the video game Batman Arkham City, or rather Batman Arkham Knight. For more details and to see the finished prints check out this video: https://youtu.be/Jm9yt5Pf-V4. I printed them in PLA on my Robo 3D R1. Then my wife took charge of some amazing post processing. Her basic steps were: Step 1: She sanded any rough spots. Step 2: She primed with white plastic primer. Step 3: She painted with matte black spray paint. Step 4: She masked off everything but the blades using tape or playdoh. Step 5: She painted chrome on the blades. Step 6: We assembled and enjoyed! The Batarang comes in four parts: two blades, a top part, and a bottom coupler in the middle. The blades press fit onto the bottom and the top presses on top of those. You may need a little glue to keep the top part on. I used super glue. Just make sure to leave the blades glue-free as they are designed to rotate so they can open and close.
