Who doesn't love some incredible Batarangs? Well now you can create your own from the video game Batman Arkham City (or Knight) for real. To see more details and finished prints, check out this video: I printed them in PLA on my Robo 3D R1 with precision. Then my wife did some fantastic post-processing on them. Her basic steps were: Step 1: Smooth out any rough spots with sandpaper Step 2: Prime the surface with White Plastic Primer for a strong base Step 3: Paint with Matte Black Spray Paint for a sleek finish Step 4: Use tape or playdoh to mask off everything but the blades Step 5: Add Chrome paint to the blades for a shiny touch Step 6: Assemble and enjoy your finished Batarang! The Batarang comes in 4 parts: 2 blades, a top piece, and a middle coupler. The blades press fit onto the bottom, and the top piece presses on top of those. You may need a little glue to keep the top part secure. I used super glue, but make sure to leave the blades free from glue so they can rotate and open and close. Print Settings: Layer Height: 0.3mm Infill: 20% Supports: Yes Raft: No
