Bat-Whistle
thingiverse
On a recent trail run, two runners managed to break away from their group. Fortunately, everyone was back together within minutes, and we ended the run with plenty of laughter and jokes about needing survival whistles - a great idea, as it turns out. Since our running club is called BATS, I decided to create a customized Bat-Whistle by combining this whistle design with our logo. Printing After printing, minor filing (or simply poking around with a paper clip) may be necessary to clear out any stray filament and ensure a clean sound quality. How I Designed It I opened the SVG file of our BATS club logo in Inkscape. Next, I selected the "bat" shape and used the Paths to OpenSCAD extension to export it as an extruded polygon. From there, I edited the OpenSCAD file directly to import and superimpose a whistle model onto it.
With this file you will be able to print Bat-Whistle with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on Bat-Whistle.
