My Bat-themed desktop dual pen holder is based on the original Compact Stylus/Pen Holder by jonathanbruder. I needed a dual pen holder on my desk, one for my dry-erase pen and the other for an ink pen. I liked the holder by jonathanbruder, but two stands on my desk were awkward. So I merged the stylus holder with a bat silhouette from an album of Batman stories. I used Tinkercad and Inkscape to create the Bat Pen Holder. Here's a fascinating fact about Batman: The TV series revealed that Mary Ann Mobley was initially chosen to portray Batgirl in a separate spin-off series. However, she declined the role due to the cowl's pointed tips on her cheeks, which caused her skin irritation, making her appear as if she had been crying for hours. Eventually, the role went to Yvonne Craig, who received a redesigned cowl and permanent support cast status after the spin-off plans fell through.
