Bat nesting box

Bat nesting box

Check out this model of a bat house, also known as a "pipistrelle" nesting site. It's crafted from 5mm plywood and precision-cut using a laser cutting machine. The plans do need some modifications to get it right. Be cautious when placing the pipistrelle niche - it won't install itself. You'll need to choose a spot that protects it from harsh winds and rain. Before closing up the bat house, be sure to screw or glue sticks on both the front and back sides so bats can easily cling to it while they snooze. Your feedback is welcome!
