As a kid I was absolutely obsessed with BatFink - an utterly ridiculous cartoon featuring a superpowered bat. He cruised around in a sleek beetle equipped with massive batwings mounted on its back. Recently, my son-in-law managed to break the spoiler off my beetle, leaving me with mounting holes that needed a creative solution. Rather than trying to print a whole new spoiler or repairing it again only to have someone else damage it, I decided to let my imagination run wild and create some batwings for my beetle - or any other car, for that matter. The predrilled holes are 42 mm apart, allowing you to mount the wings using double-sided foam tape. This project pushed my Prusa I3 printer to its full capacity! Prints look best at 20% infill. I've made the OpenSCAD file available if you want to modify it yourself.
