Bat Bunker
grabcad
Bat Bunker, crafted by Whitefield Academy FIRST LEGO League Robotics Team #6128 (Team Blackout), is a 3D printable bat habitat accessible to anyone with a 3D printer. The intricate interior and bottom plate feature a voronio pattern to facilitate bat entry and roosting comfortably. The opening size ensures only bats can access it, keeping predators at bay. Comprising of three parts - top, middle, and bottom - users can print multiple middles for taller structures. Mount the bat house 10-20 feet above ground on an east or south facing wall, optimally receiving 6-8 hours of direct sunlight, preferably in the morning. Team Blackout extends gratitude to 3Space (http://3space.us/) in Louisville, KY for their guidance during design process.
