BassShaker for DX Racer chair
thingiverse
A design to integrate two cheap 100W body shakers in my DX racer chair. The idea was to design it with minimum chair modification, so it is anchored to the arm holders anchorage, which is also the main beam of the chair's structure. I printed in filaflex 4 elastic whasers to isolate the chair from its base (printed in bright green) with 40% concentric infill patern, and two pieces of the body shaker holders in PETG, 40% infill, as it shoul be the stiffer the print, the better energy transmitted. The holders need supports, but easy to print and remove. I also used a cheap amp I bought on ebay, it has USB entrance and bluetooth, but in my first cases I found the aux enter is the only one I like since the others have some delay using it with voicemeeter banana to split and equalize the audio. Everything is mounted using 2cm M8 screws, however you may want to replace the chair screws with some longer screws. UPDATE: The previous amp placement was very weak, so I have added two brackets to fit it into the arm holders, using one M4x50 screw and one nut.
