Bassoon reed vials
thingiverse
Human: Boxes and vials for individual bassoon reeds are necessary to accommodate various reed sizes, featuring ventilation holes at one end and a ventilated mandrel to secure the reed in place on the other end. Thin walls allow for transparency when printed with clear filament, while small indents on the ends facilitate easy removal from the printing bed. Remember that reeds come into contact with your mouth, so it's essential to use food-grade filament or thoroughly clean and sanitize your parts before using them. Version Update 1.1: A new cap has been added to rectangular reed boxes featuring guide pins at two corners. This design helps keep the reed aligned when removing or inserting it from the box, reducing the risk of damaging the reed by hitting it against a corner. The recommended use is with this updated lid, although the original is still available.
