I was bored of rectangular desgns for each and all and tried an ellipsoid for this basin (or bowl ?) Dimensions: 160mm x 100mm x 17,44mm It was meant to hold water (tray for a watermill or Sōzu) so it has a solid bottom and thicker walls the farther it gets down. But it isn't limited to wet things, you could collect stickers in it, or jewelery or condoms... - might make a TPU version of it to hold my glasses. (Ok, the overhangs are very difficult with TPU or I tried it much too fast.) It still prints rather fast, 2h at 0,28 layer height, 3h at 0,12. I sliced it in prusa-slicer (which won me iimmediately by it's accurate estimates of print time and the very useful thumbnails when the octoprint plugin is installed) and found that print times decreased steeply when I added perimeter. 6 perimeter appeared to hit the sweet spot for me but YMMV, I recommend to check that out. This thing profits from higher resolution. My initial print was it with auto-supports enabled but that introduced some artefacts and slowed down the print, fine resolution and no support did much better. And, as usual, FreeCAD sources are supplied to let you tinker with it. Have fun!
