This is a custom-made plastic insert for a Bassani Manual Ceramic Burr Coffee Grinder. Initially, the original part failed to perform during the first use, prompting me to design and create a more reliable alternative. The new component boasts a superior fit on the rotating shaft, effectively preventing failure by avoiding stripping of the plastic flanges. To print this custom insert successfully, it is recommended that you rotate it 180 degrees and utilize support material for the small tabs where the adjustment screw catches. This may compromise the aesthetic appeal with visible support material, but it ensures that the tabs are printed easily and correctly.
