<p>Simple fender style thumbrest with no holes. I mount them on the pickguard with double-sided tape (clear Gorilla glue tape) and never had one come off. The thumbrest is only 6mm thick and with the added tape thickness feels closer to the stock fender thumbrests. Keep the double-sided tape on the pickguard though not to mess up your finish.</p>
