I carefully applied heat from my trusty heat gun to delicately warm the part and shape it to perfectly match the contours of my bass, requiring only a minimal amount of heat to achieve the desired result! I skillfully sanded the pickguard with fine-grit sandpaper, specifically 160 grit, to subtly distress its appearance.
