Bass Guitar Body
thingiverse
Version 2 body is released at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3542014, but unfortunately, this version doesn't work as expected. As an avid bass guitar player, I've always wanted a 3D printed bass to add to my collection. This project checks all the boxes on my wish list. The design of the body is inspired by multiple bass guitars that I love online, and it incorporates a neck from a used Yamaha bass. Although this first attempt wasn't entirely successful, as the body couldn't handle the string tension, version 2 is already underway with significant improvements. Reinforced steel rods measuring 10mm in diameter have been added to the body of V2 to make it fully playable and reliable. If you don't own a printer but want to get your hands on this amazing bass, feel free to contact me through my Etsy store. I'd be more than happy to print it for you at https://www.etsy.com/shop/XDr4g0nX3DPrinting.
