I've been steadily refining this model in my spare time and it's now at a point where I can confidently call it complete. My objective was to stay true to the original concept conceived by Yuji Ishihara, and I believe I successfully achieved that goal. However, the cape presented significant difficulties when attempting to upload the fully animated version, forcing me to settle for static poses instead. Despite this challenge, I acquired valuable knowledge about blendshapes, transferring weights between models, uploading multiple animations/textures in one step, and troubleshooting issues between Maya and Sketchfab. Additionally, I took my first steps in utilizing Substance Painter, making this fan art project a resounding success. Be sure to explore the other poses by clicking on the Animation drop down menu when hovering over the timeline – I incorporated some of his most iconic moves from Megaman Battle Network 3.
