Bass Clarinet Mouthpiece

Bass Clarinet Mouthpiece

thingiverse

This model is designed after a traditional bass clarinet reed but has been made entirely out of plastic. The various components include the mouthpiece itself, the plastic reed substitute, two screws and a specialized holding clip known as a ligature. To properly assemble all the parts, one must carefully align the flat side of the plastic reed with the corresponding side of the mouthpiece. In order to keep it securely in place, you'll want to stretch the ligature over the top of the mouthpiece before proceeding to thread the screws through pre-drilled holes within the ligature itself. Making music comes easily once one knows how to correctly blow air into this plastic imitation just as if they were holding an actual woodwind instrument in their hands.
