An aircraft is lightweight, delicate and airy; designing for crashes isn't ideal as I'd rather inflate it in a balloon! For me, the structure should just about hold all components - from motors to batteries, weight is already an issue. Landing ball colors aid navigation, controlled by controllers who regulate flight diagonally or front-back. I envisage baskets stacked on top of each other with quick spacer poles assembly. Flexible mesh containers with elastic fasteners for easy battery changes and component swaps are also considered.
