Klamath River culture basket manufactured between the 1920s and 1940s in Humboldt, Del Norte, or Siskiyou county features a round shape with a flat base and rounded sides that slope inward slightly towards the rim. The primary weaving technique is plain twining with three-strand twining used on the base. The design consists of a wide band along one side showing diagonal terraced zigzags flanked by solid black triangles in bear grass and maidenhair fern, resembling an arrowhead and snake pattern. A border at both the top and bottom is made using paired warps.
