You'll need a speedy basin wrench to loosen the bolt holding the waste pipe in place against the basin. I fashioned a hex key wrench, but soon discovered that the present nut had eight sides, prompting me to craft an octagonal tool to fit it perfectly. This homemade fix might just save someone's day.
