Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe - Mexico City
myminifactory
The Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe boasts two main structures: a modern edifice and its older counterpart, which I had the privilege of modeling. The venerable structure, previously known as "Templo Expiatorio a Cristo Rey," once served as the custodian of a revered relic cherished by Catholics worldwide, particularly in Latin America - the cloak bearing the iconic image of Our Lady of Guadalupe. Constructed with meticulous care using Fusion 360 (an estimated 25-30 hours of modeling invested), the outcome was nothing short of remarkable, albeit for one minor oversight: the crosses adorning the towers proved too small to print accurately.
