Human: Nume has activated the "Churches of the Earthquake" project, a journey through sacred buildings lost or severely damaged by numerous seismic events that occurred between October and November 2016, with the support of three-dimensional models that restore their original appearance. This journey begins with the Basilica of San Benedetto in Norcia (13th-14th century), which has become an emblem of this tragedy. Built between 1290 and 1338 in Romanesque-Gothic style, it would rise on the saint's birthplace. The structure that can be admired today is the result of a series of construction and restoration interventions that have taken place over the centuries, mainly after the numerous earthquakes that have affected the area.
