Basic Swoopbot
thingiverse
Hey there everyone! This is my very first upload to share with you all, and I'm super excited to finally get it out there. It's also the first model I've ever designed from scratch, and I based it on my absolute favorite Dinobot - the one and only Swoop from the G1 era. I managed to bring him to life using Fusion 360, and then printed him out on my trusty Ender 3 3D printer. Since you all are probably curious about how I put this together, let me give you a little rundown. The design was entirely done by memory, with no reference images or tutorials to guide me. And as for the printing process, it was a seamless experience thanks to my reliable Ender 3. Now, before anyone gets too excited and starts assembling their own Swoop replica, I need to give you a heads up on something important. The main body and wing base of this model will require some extra TLC - specifically, they'll need to be glued together carefully.
