Basic Shingle Textured Rolling Pin
thingiverse
This is the shingle texture roller I demonstrated on my Craft Logic YouTube channel. I'm experimenting with this technique to create attractive shingles much faster than cutting and gluing individual pieces. This design is still in development, but I've successfully printed a similar roller that has performed well. However, after making some minor changes, this version hasn't yielded the same results yet. My first prototype was printed on my Ender 3 without any issues or support required. Since the modifications are minimal, I'm confident this one will print just as smoothly. You can find the demonstration video linked to my channel, but keep in mind it's not a perfect representation of what this roller can do. I've also included a picture of another test piece that shows much better results in my opinion. I'll continue experimenting and appreciate any feedback you may have if you decide to print and use this roller! Let me know your thoughts! If you enjoy the design, please check out and consider subscribing to my YouTube channel at https://www.youtube.com/c/CraftLogic, as well as following me on Instagram @craftlogictv. If you really like the model and are feeling generous, a tip would be greatly appreciated! It really helps support the channel! Thanks for your time and consideration!
