I spent all day trying to find a basic screw down spool holder for my standard 1KG rolls of Overture 1.75mm filament. Everything I had found was too low, or not wide enough. So I took the OmniStand Adjustable Filament Spool Stand by BaronWilliams and extended it to be taller so I could fit a 1kg spool. This can be mounted on a horizontal or vertical surface.
