Basic Raspberry Pi B+ Mounting Bracket for Printrbot Simple Metal

Basic Raspberry Pi B+ Mounting Bracket for Printrbot Simple Metal

thingiverse

I designed this model as a beginner, posting it on Thingiverse for the first time. My goal was straightforward: find a simple way to attach my Raspberry Pi to my Printrbot Simple, using it as a print server. This model consists of basic mounting brackets that securely hold the Pi in place using the Z-axis bolts located on the right side of the printer. To complete this design, you'll need to print two STL files – both sides are identical – allowing the Pi to slide neatly into its compartment. The dimensions of my Raspberry Pi case measure approximately 31.6mm thick, making it compatible with the mounts within this model without any adjustments. As a newcomer to 3D modeling, I'm eager to see others enhance and improve upon this design, turning it into an even better creation.
