Basic Rapberry Pi Case
thingiverse
This is a basic Raspberry Pi case, designed specifically for the Raspberry Pi 2 but should also fit comfortably on the 3 and B+. The case provides easy access to all of the Pi's external ports as well as its SD card. A decorative hole in the lid allows for improved cooling or serves as a convenient place to pass wires directly to the Pi's GPIO headers. Four pins are strategically located at the bottom part of the case, perfectly fitting into the Pi's mounting holes and securely holding the lid in place. The Pi should slide effortlessly into position without requiring any force, but it is essential to clean up any excess plastic left behind in the case, particularly around the pins, as this can cause interference. Additionally, the case walls are thicker in areas that tend to be prone to breakage. This Raspberry Pi case was printed using PLA with a 100% infill. I created this model primarily to gain hands-on experience with Fusion 360, and it marks my first attempt at designing and printing a model using this software.
